Naval Aviation 100th Anniversary

To kick off a year of celebrations for the 100th Anniversary of the Naval Aviation Foundation, an event aboard the USS Midway — a ship first commissioned during WWII — was an important milestone. After enjoying an aerial flyover featuring 200 vintage and active duty planes during the day, 700 distinguished guests made their way to the flight deck of the USS Midway that night. There, they found the storage hangar bay transformed by AOO Events into an elegant environment. complete with chandeliers and red, white and blue carpet. During the event, three heartfelt custom videos creating by Brett Culp Films brought emotions to the surface while a final performance by Kenny Loggins of such songs as “Celebrate Me Home” and “Danger Zone” ensured there was not a dry eye in the house.
