All the Elements: Brand Building through Immersive Design

For an all-season national tree care company, we planted the seed of the brand message in four areas. Using nature as an immersive design element helped the client connect with guests in a meaningful yet entertaining way.

We had a lot of room in which to work. The large, outdoor area in Indian Wells was broken down by the seasons. In one area, fiery bursts of orange and red together with floral design emulated the splendor of fall. In another we used an ice-hot mix of textures and shapes to project a subliminal message of the planet, perfect for a company working with the environment. And still another area conveyed the serenity of a lush forest.

At one point during the evening everyone gathered under a main tent for entertainment. The tent itself was a screen for a digital video show that took guests underwater, into space and through kaleidoscopes of color that underscored each unique entertainer. The elements were represented here as well — a fire eater, roller skaters emulating the moves of ice skaters and dancers using lighted hoops as part of an acrobatic and energetic show.

Through all of it, we emphasized the circle of the seasons and the nature that is literally this brand.

We are honored that our efforts in branding through immersive event design were recognized by our peers and this event has been nominated for the globally recognized ILEA Esprit Award 2019 for Best Corporate Event.
